Meet our team of talented individuals who are committed to helping you achieve your academic goals. We're comprised of eight students from multiple high schools across Ottawa! It's our goal to support other students when learning during this difficult time.

Allison Wang
Hi everyone! My name is Allison and I am a first year student at Western University. Initially, I founded Auxilium to help with the lack of support during learning in the pandemic. From then, it has become so much more than that: social networking, mental health resources, and more. I love helping people and I hope to impact even more individuals. Outside of school and Auxilium, I dance, debate, do photography and listen to music!

Jasmin An
Hi! My name is Jasmin and I am in grade 12 at Merivale High School. I joined Auxilium to be able to give back to my community during a time where many educational programs were limited. When Allison reached out with this initiative, I knew that it was something I wanted to be a part of! Some of my hobbies include reading, baking, travelling and debate. A fun fact about me is that I broke 4 bones in my foot in sixth grade.

Edward Wang
Hi! My name is Edward and I'm going to grade 12 at Merivale High School. I joined Auxilium because they represent values that deeply resonate within me. Having to endure online school, I sought to join a group of students who are passionate about supporting mental health and education in youth. I am a competitive figure skater and I love to 3D print and started my own 3D printing business: 3EPrintingCreations!

Adrienne Liu
Hey, I'm Adrienne and I'm a senior at Merivale High School. One of my life goals is to leave a place better than I found it, so I joined Auxilium to make positive changes in the world around me. Outside Auxilium, I’m a piano virtuoso who has won several awards and scholarships over the course of my career, as well as an avid writer and gamer. Fun fact: I really like frogs and I collect frog memorabilia!

Hi! My name is Annika and I am a grade 12 student at Merivale High School. Something really important to me is making a positive impact in my community: I joined the Auxilium because I wanted to help contribute to the educational value that the organization is able to bring. Some of my favourite things to do include drawing, painting, and going on walks -- fun fact: I have produced over 40 digital art pieces in the past year!

Hey, I’m Mason and I am an Grade 12 student at Earl Of March Secondary. During the covid pandemic, I was thinking about how to give back to the community that raised me and made me who I am. I was talking to a couple of my friends one day when I raised that topic and they introduced me to the Auxilium. I like to read and write, play sports and watch tv shows/films.

Hello, my name is Narmeen and I am a grade 12 student at Earl of March. I am always looking for ways to positively contribute to my community. As a result, I found out about the Auxilium which I believe, presents a perfect way to do so! Education has always been a passion of mine and I equally enjoy expanding my knowledge with the help of others.

Hey guys! I’m Daniel and I’m in grade 12 at Earl of March. I joined Auxilium to further my involvement in the community as well as help others in their education. I enjoy playing and watching hockey, music and video games. I’m a huge Sens fan (Go Sens Go!). A fun fact about me is that I was part of a pampers ad as a baby.

Hi! My name is Kenneth and I am a grade 11 student at Merivale High School. I joined Auxilium because I want to expand its outreach and make the overall experience for mentors and students better. Some of my hobbies include tennis, debate, and programming. A fun fact about me is that I know how to solve a 3x3 Rubik's Cube.

Hello everyone! My name is Yiyan and I am a twelfth grader at Merivale High School. I have always loved inspiring other students and athletes, working jobs as a piano teacher and badminton coach. After following Auxilium on Instagram, I knew I wanted to join the team and help other high school students. It always gave good tips and opportunities to help us improve as people. In my free time, I enjoy going on bike rides, working out and listening to music. If you have any music recommendations, please let me know :).

Hi, my name is Matthew and I am a grade 11 student at Colonel By SS. It has always been one of my joys helping friends and other students thrive both academically and socially. As a mentor part of the Auxilium program in 2021, I thought that this was a great organization with lots of positive encouragement. I like to play chess and listen to music in my free time.

Xinya Su
Hello! My name is Xinya and I’m going into grade 12 at Earl of March Secondary School. I knew I wanted to be apart of Auxilium as it was a great way to help out local youth (like me!), while keeping all things covid safe. My favourite activity is dancing and my favourite styles would probably be contemporary and hip hop. I also enjoy many other art forms such as music, singing, and visual arts. A fun fact about me is that I once accidentally turned my hair green!

Hello! I’m Grace, and I’m a first year student at Western University studying finance and business administration. I’ve always enjoyed working with kids, so I currently work as a lifeguard and swim instructor. When I heard of Auxilium, I was highly interested in the organization for its goal of supporting youth mental health through its monitorship program and other community building activities. These values resonated with me, so I joined the Auxilium team! In my free time, I enjoy long bike rides around my neighborhood, rewatching my favourite TV shows, and FaceTiming my friends. Fun fact: I’m a big BTS fun :P

Hi! I’m Sherilyn and I’m a grade 12 student at Colonel By SS. Outside of school, I love being outdoors, whether it be camping in summer or skiing in winter. I’ve also had a few teaching jobs here and there, which is why I really resonate with Auxilium’s commitment to education. I think the youth can be so powerful when you give them the resources to exercise their potential.

Hello! My name is Linda and I’m a first year undergraduate student at McMaster University pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences with a Specialization in Child Health. I joined Auxilium because the mentors I had throughout high school played a huge part in me putting myself out there and discovering my interests!! Outside of Auxilium, I enjoy writing, the performing arts, exploring different cities, and volunteering. Fun Fact: I like receiving vaccines and blood tests...
